Marty founded Fin Brand Positioning in 2008 after a 30-year tenure as Creative Director at Lapham/Miller.
Marty has spent his career building the brands of leading organizations in academia, healthcare, the arts, and business. His problem-solving design solutions in the areas of institutional brand development, marketing communication publications, and product packaging are guided by sound marketing initiative. Marty has received numerous prestigious national awards for his work with clients, both non-profit and for-profit. Among his clients are organizations as prominent as Cambridge University, Cambridge in America, Cahners Business Information, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the American School in London, The Meritas Family of Schools, EMC² Corporation, NYU Child Study Center, The City College of New York, The Brearley School, Weill Cornell Medical College, Boston University, Osram Sylvania, Parsons School of Design, Smith College, Sarah Lawrence College, Spence School, Mount Sinai Medical Center, and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.
Marty studied graphic design at the University of Washington in Seattle. He has been a member of the Council of the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston and serves on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence, Massachusetts, and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Seacoast of New Hampshire. |
